Saint Savvas Saint Savvas was a monk who led a hermit’s life in the convent of All Saints. Those who got to know him remember his kindness, humility and holiness. After his death, with the finding of his Relic, he was recognized as a saint and as a Wonder-worker. His memory is celebrated on the fifth Sunday of the fasting season with particular splendour. The great faith of the Kalymnian people led to building a great Temple to His honour.
It is built on top of a mountain, visible from the whole city.
